Manchester City have yet to make any major transfer moves this summer as Pep Guardiola once again takes a patient approach to additions.

Unfortunately for the Blues, most of the conversations surrounding City this summer have revolved around who could be leaving the Etihad Stadium rather than who will be coming in. A huge chunk of the squad's core has been linked with the exit door, which will undoubtedly be unsettling for supporters.

Fortunately, in our latest look at the media headlines, we can provide City fans with some comfort about one star player's future.

Al Nassr hone in on their preferred target

According to TeamTalk, Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr have decided they would much prefer to sign Liverpool's Alisson Becker this summer rather than City's Ederson. It is believed the Saudi Pro League club have reached an agreement on personal terms for the Blues' man, but if the opportunity arises, they would much rather sign Alisson.

The report adds that Alisson is set to receive a 'monster' contract offer from Al Nassr in the coming weeks.

What MEN Sport says: News about Al Nassr potentially switching their focus from Alisson to Ederson will be welcomed by City supporters. Looking at both the Liverpool and City squads, you would imagine Arne Slot is the most likely to want to accept a big offer from the Middle East for his goalkeeper if it means he can gain cash to add his own stamp on the squad. Guardiola, on the other hand, is in no huge rush to accept any offer from Al Nassr for Ederson. Why change a winning formula if you don't have to? All we need now is for Liverpool to do the decent thing for City and accept an Alisson bid to give the Blues an advantage in the title race.

City 'keeper target sets out demands

According to AS, Andriy Lunin has informed Real Madrid that he wants to be offered reassurances regarding his playing time if he is to stay at the Bernabeu this summer. The Ukranian reportedly wants to be the first choice in the Spanish capital.

However, this request looks unlikely to be granted due to Thibaut Courtois' standing at the club.

What MEN Sport says: City are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Lunin should he choose to depart Real this summer. However, even if Ederson were to leave, Lunin would not be guaranteed the playing time he craves. Stefan Ortega would deserve to be the first choice after his performances last season, and it would be up to the Ukranian to prove that he is a better option than the German.
