Liverpool FC issue 'please be aware' warning to Taylor Swift fans going to Anfield gig
Liverpool FC has issued a warning to fans attending the Taylor Swift concert at Anfield.
The world's biggest popstar will perform the second show of her record-breaking Eras tour at Anfield on Friday before a final performance tomorrow night. Thousands of fans will once again travel to L4 for the sold out performances.
A statement has been issued on the club's official X account to warn fans planning on buying alcohol at the events. It said: "If you're attending any of the remaining concerts at Anfield please be aware that provisional driving licences cannot be accepted as proof of age to purchase alcohol at the stadium.

"Please bring alternative ID." A provisional driving licence is government approved so is widely accepted as a form of identification.
The club responded to a fan query to confirm a full driving licence is accepted as a form of ID at the event. People took to the comments to share their confusion after the warning.
Rebekka said: "You guys do know that a full driving license and a provisional driving license are both authenticated and delivered by the same authority"
Alison posted: "So you can only buy alcohol if you’ve passed your driving test?" Josh commented: "Why?? It's a legitimate ID document."
