Former Liverpool loanee Arthur Melo looks set to venture on a new path as news emerged about his future at Juventus.

The Reds signed Arthur from the Serie A giants in the summer of 2022 on a season-long loan deal. However, the move did not work out for both parties with the midfielder rarely featuring under former manager Jurgen Klopp.

Arthur made just one appearance for Liverpool, which came in a 13-minute cameo against Napoli in the Champions League in September 2022 and did not feature at all in the Premier League. The Brazilian would not play in another match for the Reds after suffering an injury that forced him to undergo surgery.

After leaving Liverpool, Arthur returned to Juventus only to be loaned out to Fiorentina last term. He made 46 appearances in all competitions and helped the Italian club reach the final of the Europa Conference League.

Now Arthur is back at Juventus and appears to be increasingly likely to leave the club once again this summer. And it seems that a permanent move away from the Serie A outfit may be on the cards if the recent comments from his agent are anything to go by.

Arthur's agent, Federico Pastorello, has provided an update on the former Liverpool midfielder's future. Pastorello has stated that Arthur is not part of Juventus' future as the summer transfer window rolls on.

“We are talking to several clubs about Arthur because he will leave Juventus, they are not counting on him," Pastorello is quoted telling Rai.

Arthur recently admitted that he would be open to a return to the Premier League. The midfielder was recently linked with a move to Everton and spoke about his experience in England.

“I'd like to have another shot (in the Premier League)," Arthur told the Daily Mail back in May. "It's a league I like a lot and feel I was unlucky there with the injury I picked up.

"I took all the positives from Liverpool. Working with Jurgen Klopp and his staff was a positive experience and I want another opportunity."

Arthur joined Juventus in 2020 from Barcelona but has made just 63 appearances for the club over the past four years. He has spent the last two years on loan away from Turin, and now the latest update suggests that the former Liverpool loanee could embark on the next step of his career with a move away from the Serie A club.
