Liverpool face a busy summer in the transfer window as they begin life after Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds remain in a thrilling title race with Arsenal and Manchester City as they look to end their German manager's time at Anfield on a high. Klopp's side could go level on points with the Gunners if they secure all three points at Fulham on Sunday.

Amid FSG's difficult task of appointing a successor to Klopp, they will also be planning on making changes to the club's playing squad. Recent reports have claimed that Liverpool are interested in Porto midfielder Alan Varela. And Argentine journalist Luis Fregossi has now claimed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the Reds are willing to pay around £60million for the midfielder.

Elsewhere, Catalan publication SPORT are claiming that Luis Diaz has decided to leave the club this summer in the hope of securing a move to Barcelona. It is said that the winger position is a priority for the La Liga giants with Diaz fitting the bill. It is also claimed by Colombian outlet El Heraldo that Liverpool want between £102m-£123m for him.

Reports in Italy meanwhile have claimed that the Reds could reignite their interest in Juventus winger Federico Chiesa this summer. The Italian's current deal in Turin expires next summer with Tuttosport claiming that Liverpool could take advantage.

It is claimed that the Serie A club are currently locked in negotiations with Chiesa over a potential new deal with their preference to reach an agreement before this summer's European Championships. If he fails to agree on an extension, the Reds could look to sign him as a potential replacement for Mohammed Salah, if the Egyptian leaves Merseyside.
