A Liverpool restaurant has expanded its offering, after selling more burgers than McDonald's on UberEats.

Nashville Cluck has been announced as the Baltic Market's newest trader, alongside Hafla Hafla, Little Furnace, Spice Thai, Richie’s, La Bistroteca, Polpetta, Midnight Delivery and Press Bros. The American-themed restaurant, that flies all of their ingredients in from the USA, is known for being one of the most loved takeaway burgers in the city.

It was recently shortlisted for UberEats’ Restaurant of the Year Award and has overtaken huge chains including McDonald’s, KFC, Popeyes and Five Guys to become the most ordered on UberEats in the area. From Wednesday, May 1, the fried-chicken meals will be available in the Baltic Market as well as its Myrtle Street restaurant.

Nashville Cluck opened in October 2022, near to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, with the hopes of creating the "perfect" chicken burger. The team went from selling 500 burgers a week, to now sending out more burgers than McDonald’s in Liverpool.

Using locally sourced fresh chicken breast, the team behind Nashville Cluck then uses ingredients it has flown in from the USA to ensure its burger’s authenticity including its special Nashville buttermilk. The menu includes the likes of the special Cheetos coated burger and cheesy sandwiches.

Oliver Press, Co-Founder of Baltic Market, said: "Baltic Market has always been a breeding ground for talent amongst our city’s hospitality scene. It’s bursting with amazing concepts but we were missing one thing… Fried chicken! Nashville Cluck is the perfect example of a start-up that has poured its heart and soul into creating the very best dishes for its guests and we can’t wait to welcome the team to the market from Wednesday 1st May.

"We couldn’t think of a more perfect addition and hope our guests love tucking into their authentic Nashville burgers while enjoying a bustling atmosphere that Baltic Market is known and loved for." The owners of Nashville Cluck said: "We’re so excited to be opening a second spot in Liverpool within Baltic Market.

"We’ve always been the perfect delivery food and have gained thousands of followers and reviews from online orders. But we’ve always wanted our customers to be able to sit, relax and enjoy our burgers within an amazing atmosphere and Baltic Market will facilitate this perfectly.

"The market is every food vendor's dream to be part of; it’s iconic and part of Liverpool’s history now. When the team at Baltic Market approached us, we seized the opportunity and can’t wait to show everyone what The Nashville Cluck is all about. Our unique selling point is our fresh ingredients; we’ve never used frozen chicken, and it’s always the most authentic Nashville buttermilk, American cheese and big brioche buns."
