“We will accept any donations to this scholarship fund through the Green and White Program,” the school district said. “Audrii loved school, so what better way to honor her memory than to help a student further their education.”

Donations can be made to the Audrii Cunningham Memorial Scholarship by mailing funds to Green and White Scholarship Fund-Audrii Cunningham, PO Box 1297, Livingston, TX 77351.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8568 in Polk County said they are also collecting funds to help cover expenses in her honor.

“This is the only authorized fundraiser by the family,” the VFW said. “After expenses have been paid, the remaining proceeds will be donated to Texas EquuSearch in Audrii’s honor.”

A visitation for Audrii will be open to the public on March 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at 106 Colt Rd. in Livingston.

“Audrii was an extraordinary child that touched the lives of everyone who she knew. She will be remembered for her radiant smile that filled every room she entered with joy. Audrii was a happy, loving child that enjoyed things like singing and dancing. She was an artist and loved to paint; some of her artwork hangs in her school at Creekside Elementary where she was a 5th grader. Audrii was a kind and compassionate soul, and an animal lover, especially to her cats and dogs. She touched so many lives, in her short 11 years on earth, of not only the people that knew and loved her but her entire community. She will always be remembered, and her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone.”
