Lloyds, Santander, NatWest, Barclays customers have until 'tomorrow' to claim free £150

Lloyds, Santander, Barclays and NatWest customers have just a DAY left to get a free £150. Those signed up to rival high street banks can switch to the Co-operative and get a free £150 payment, it has been warned by consumer experts.

The Co-operative Bank warned: "Our Switch and Regular Saver offer is ending on 5 July 2024. There’s still time to switch and save, and receive up to £150. To be eligible, you’ll need to apply for a qualifying current account by the end of the day on Friday 5 July, and ensure that you meet all of the offer criteria within the timescales outlined in the T&Cs."

It added: "Co-operative Bank customers are part of an ethical bank - the UK’s first to introduce a customer-led Ethical Policy, which still makes us unique today. And even better, you can get up to £150 in six months. This includes £75 for switching your current account to us and then £15 a month for up to 5 months."

John Ward, Director of Product at The Co-operative Bank, said: “We’re pleased to launch this new switch and regular save incentive today. As the only UK bank with a customer-led Ethical Policy, our customers can be assured that their money will never be used to fund organisations involved in harmful activity such as the extraction or production of fossil fuels or human rights abuses.”

To switch and be eligible you need to apply for the free Standard Current Account or the paid for packaged Everyday Extra account, not hold an existing current account with The Co-operative Bank or smile and not have had, or be waiting to receive, any switch incentive from us since 1 November 2022.

To get the £75, you must do the following by the 30th day following the switch completing: deposit £1,000 or more, have two or more active Direct Debits, make ten or more card transactions, register for our online banking services or mobile app, and login.
