Locals Begin Digging Out After 'Epic Snowstorm' Around Lake Tahoe

Roads were being cleared and residents were starting to dig out around Lake Tahoe and other areas on March 4 after a four-day blizzard that hit California and Nevada dropped up to 10 feet of snow in places.

Drone footage shot in Incline Village, Nevada, shows the impressive amount of snow waiting to be cleared.

Roland Schumann said he and his neighbors had “endured an epic snow storm with up to 10 feet of snow and winds recorded at 190 miles per hour.”

The National Weather Service in Reno said “drier and warmer conditions” were on the way. Credit: Roland Schumann via Storyful
