Alongside the elections for the Mayor, Londoners will also cast their vote for London Assembly members in May. The election will take place on Thursday, May 2 and everyone registered will vote for three things: the Mayor of London, your constituency London Assembly member and the London-wide Assembly members.

You can no longer register to vote as the last chance was on Tuesday, April 16. You will need to make sure you have photo ID with you before heading to your nearest polling station.

Full details of what ID is accepted and how you can apply for a free voter ID document if you do not have an accepted form of photo ID can be found here.
