Across the capital tomorrow (Thursday, May 2), voters will be choosing who they want as the capital's mayor and London Assembly Members. There are three ballot papers and three votes.

Two are for the London Assembly elections, and a single vote is for the mayoral election. Electors will need to head to their local polling station to cast their ballots.

According to the Met Office, it will be a lovely day for it. Experts predict that there will be no rain and a peak temperature of 18°C at 3pm.

Polling stations open at 7am and close at 10pm. Londoners will need to be registered to vote and produce a valid form of photo ID once they get there.

Polling cards with details of where you are to vote were delivered some weeks ago. But, if you have misplaced yours, do not fear.

How to find your polling station

The Electoral Commission has a handy tool which tells you where your polling station is. You can access it here.

London Elects has a similar tool. You can use that here.

The organisation says that more than six million Londoners are eligible to vote across the capital.

Greater London Returning Officer (GLRO), Mary Harpley said: "Who governs London for the next four years is in your hands. Ensure you know where your named polling station is and make the time to get there – it’s your democratic right. Don’t forget your photo ID.”
