London travel news: Chaos on Tube as Circle Line suspended and other closures after 'casualty on track'
The Circle Line has been suspended and the Metropolitan Line and Hammersmith and City Line part suspended after a casualty on the tracks, TfL has said.
A seven-vehicle collision on the M25 in Surrey was causing delays of at least one hour on Tuesday afternoon but traffic has since been cleared and all four lanes are now open.
Certain routes coming in and out of London Waterloo are facing delays until the end of the day - because of an incident which required emergency services.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of train passengers are suffering severe disruption on routes which include trains going to and from London Euston.
This is because a landslip between Rugby and Coventry on Tuesday morning has thrown several services into chaos.
Underground commuters are facing delays again on the Central Line due to a shortage of trains and holidaymakers are still facing disruption with the Piccadilly Line closed between Acton Town and the airport.

Best train station for London commuters revealed

Chelmsford has been named the best train station for London commuters, while the Elizabeth line has helped Shenfield to claim third place.
Passengers using Reading, at the other end of the Elizabeth line, had to endure a “dire performance”, with almost 20 per cent of trains - including those operated by GWR - arriving at least 10 minutes late. A further five per cent were cancelled.
This highlights the ongoing issues suffered by passengers trying to get in and out of Paddington due to track and signalling failures on Network Rail infrastructure.

Surrey Police have told the Standard seven vehicles were involved in a collision at around 11am on the M25 between Junction 8 and 9.
Emergency services attended with only minor injuries reported and no one was taken to hospital, the force said.

London Fire Brigade was called around 4.10pm to “reports of smoke at Uxbridge Underground Station”. A spokesperson said firefighters attended but following investigation, crews established there was no fire.
However, there is no Metropolitan Line service between Baker Street and Aldgate while emergency services deal with a casualty on the track, and severe delays are affecting the rest of the line.

Person taken to hospital after 'casualty on tracks'

British Transport Police has confirmed a person has been taken to hospital after an incident on the railway tracks at Euston Square this afternoon.
"Officers were called to Euston Square underground station just after 4pm today to reports of a casualty on the tracks,” said a spokesperson.
“Paramedics also attended and a person has been taken to hospital. The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
Severe delays remain across five Tube lines

Several Tube lines that were closed due to a casualty on the tracks have since reopened.
