London is set for its hottest day of 2024 so far next week.

This summer hasn't exactly been inspiring, with bouts of sunshine broken up by showers and even a couple of thunderstorms.

But it isn't all doom and gloom, according to BBC Weather, as come Tuesday (June 25) the thermometers will creep as high as 27C, the sunshine bringing with it a nice, gentle breeze. Perfect walk in the park weather, eh?

Temperatures from today will rise steadily, and while they peak on Tuesday, they'll be slowly dropping after that. In fact, from the Friday (June 28), the rain will be returning, with temperatures sitting around the early 20s.
