Long Delays at Faro Airport Amid Strike in Portugal

Travelers complained of chaotic scenes, crowding, delays and missed flights at Faro airport on March 17, as a civil service strike in Portugal led to long lines at border control.

Footage posted to Twitter by Knut Moe shows crowds of people waiting in long lines at the airport. Local news reported that people missed their flights, while some fainted while waiting in line.
