'Look What the Cat Dragged in': Florida Man Removes Snake From Home

Trent Thompson has plenty of fans on TikTok, where he shares scenes from his life as the owner of “too many cats”, and a dog. As a recent video shows, snake removal is part of the deal when you share a home with felines.

In the video, Thompson calls into action his “trusty IKEA claw mittens” to remove the snake, which was dragged in by JJ the cat.

Thompson told Storyful this was not an uncommon occurrence. He said another of his cats, Velcro, also liked to bring in snakes.

“There was a point where he was bringing the snake into the house every single day,” Thompson said.

Fortunately, Thompson told Storyful there have been “no venomous snakes in the house yet,” but that there are “plenty in the woods” behind their home. Credit: Trent Thompson via Storyful
