Yahoo News Loose Women's Andrea McLean makes surprise return to the show
Former Loose Women star Andrea McLean has made a surprise return to the show with a special announcement.
Andrea joined Christine Lampard and the Loose Women panel in Wednesday's (May 22) episode to confirm that she will be part of the show's 25th anniversary celebrations.
"It feels like home. It feels so good," she said of her return to the programme.
The ITV1 daytime series is planning a very special episode for September to celebrate the milestone anniversary, with past and present co-hosts expected to take part.
Andrea announced that she would be among the returning panellists for Loose Women's 25th anniversary special, saying: "You'll be seeing me again in September!"

The presenter reflected on her legacy as the longest-serving Loose Women presenter at 13 years, telling viewers: "It's funny because when you do a normal presenting job, you do your research on whoever you're interviewing, or if it's a panel discussion on the subject [being talked about].
"But with Loose Women, you are part of the discussion. You have to share parts of your life and your personal life. So when I first joined I was very used to anchoring and presenting, [but] it was quite the transition to talk about yourself."
Andrea stood down from her job at Loose Women in 2020 to focus on her other businesses and has since insisted she doesn't regret the decision.
She told Lorraine in 2022: "I had a breakdown a few years ago, Lorraine, because I was going and going and going and I didn't want to look at really what was happening.

"I was just trying to keep busy and not think. Learn from my mistakes and just stop for a minute."
More details about Loose Women's 25th anniversary special will be announced in due course.
Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
