Coleen Nolan of Loose Women fame has proudly displayed her latest tattoo on the show, explaining the heartfelt meaning behind it.

The 59-year-old joined her co-hosts Judi Love, Janet Street-Porter and Christine Lampard on Tuesday (June 25) to chat about body art. Coleen, who had previously been quite sceptical about tattoos, confessed that she's had a change of heart as she's grown older. She emphasised that for her, a tattoo must carry significant meaning, before revealing her new wrist tattoo live on air. The adorable design features a dog and cat sitting side by side.

However, when Coleen showed off her new ink to the audience and viewers at home, Janet humorously admitted her initial confusion. She quipped: "I thought it was part of the male anatomy but I was looking at it upside down."

Back in 2021, Coleen surprised everyone with her first-ever tattoo a dainty teapot on her arm. She explained to her fellow panellists that the teapot represents herself, while her children have matching tea cup tattoos, reports the Mirror.

While Janet laughed at the idea of the kids' tattoos, she was taken aback by Coleen's own commitment to the theme.

Coleen Nolan commented to her Loose Women comrade: "They have all got it because when they look at it, because I'm a tea addict at home, so they all said, 'mum, whatever happens.'" She then gave away her secret, pluckily declaring: "I had a teapot," while flaunting the fresh tattoo on her inner arm. Judi couldn't help but laugh as she gushed: "Babes, that is so sweet. Honestly that's so lovely."

Adding a twist, Coleen quipped: "So I am the teapot to their tea cup, and I didn't tell any of you." Janet wasn't quite convinced, staring skeptically even as Ruth Langsford questioned if the tattoo was real or not.

Without hesitation, Coleen enthused: "They all said mum, you have to have something now and I'm the teapot to their tea! " Ruth queried again: "Is that real? You're not joshing us, you've not drawn that on with makeup? ".

Then pleading her case, she replied enigmatically: "I swear on my life look, it's real. It took about 10 minutes." Judi commended Coleen's strong bond with her children, leading a doubtful Janet to ask quickly: "What if you change your mind?"

Explaining that the ink represents a bond with her kids, Ruth asked Janet: "What do you think of Coleen's teapot, has it made you think about maybe having a tattoo?" In reply, Janet strained out, utterly dumbfounded: "I can't, I'm speechless actually. I can't believe it."
