Lorraine Kelly has been pictured beaming alongside her daughter Rosie on the red carpet as they attended the Golden Chopsticks Awards held in London.

The Scottish ITV presenter is soon to become a grandmother following Rosie's pregnancy announcement last month. Lorraine, 64, shared a snap from the event, which was co-founded by Gok Wan, on Thursday of the mum and daughter duo.

Rosie was showcasing her beautiful bump in the picture sporting a figure-hugging brown bodycon dress, whilst Lorraine also appeared to let her hair down in a black leather belted dress. The pair were beaming for cameras ahead of the event on Monday night.

The soiree took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel and aimed to celebrate the success of East and South East Asian cuisine in the UK, the Mirror reports.

Lorraine captioned her post: "A lovely night out with @rosiekellysmith and her wee gorgeous bump - seeing @therealgokwan hosting awards celebrating the best east and south Asian food."

Her fans soon rushed to the comments section to flood the women with praise. One wrote: "Rosie is glowing and I love your dress Lorraine", as another added: "You both look absolutely beautiful", and a third wrote: "Aww love her bump , good luck with the baby."

Rosie, 29, announced her pregnancy with husband Steve in April as the parents-to-be shared the heartwarming news on social media alongside a snap of her cradling her bump.

Reacting to becoming a grandmother, Lorraine said previously on her ITV show: "I'm going to be a granny! How exciting is that? Granny Smith because, you know, my married name is Smith! So I'm Granny Smith! We're all very excited, it's huge and wonderful and yeah... it's just cheered everybody up, which is just great!

"Thank you to everybody who has sent me messages, it was really kind of you... thank you very much, it means a lot, it means a lot!" Her colleague Susanna Reid added: "Everyone's thrilled to bits, I'm so pleased for you!"
