Lorraine Kelly says 'see you' and issues announcement over her ITV future

Lorraine Kelly has praised her team after "going missing" from her daytime TV show - and addressed her ITV show future. Lorraine Kelly hosts the ITV show each and every weekday from 9am til 10am, after Good Morning Britain and before This Morning.

But Lorraine has taken time away from the show over Easter - and has now moved to explain why. On Friday, Lorraine took to social media to thank the pair for their fortnight of hard work before revealing she would be back broadcasting next week.

She wrote to her 749,8000 X followers: “Thank you @clbleakley and @ranvir01 and my top team. See you Monday xxxx.” Following Lorraine’s recent absence, fans joked the show should be renamed after Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh stepped in.

Poking fun at how often Lorraine is absent, one typed: "I love this. So funny. Calls out media facades. I have nothing against Lorraine but calling the show her name when it’s just a magazine show is huge ego.”

A second commented: “Christine Lampard should be given the show full time. Because she has class; plain and very pretty. Herself and husband Frank could; be the new Richard and Judy. Very Interesting would; be a good idea. Hope it happens.” (sic)

“[Lorraine's] kids have had some good quality time with their wee Mummy this Easter,” another typed. A second said: “Give her a break it’s hard work now she’s going to be a Granny. Not only will she need time off for wee Rosie, but her baby as well.

"It’s a hard life, bless her.” Rushing to defend her, another also said: “Are people not entitled to holidays? Why does it bother you so much? Unless of course you’re paying her wages, are you?” Lorraine continues to air each and every weekday from 9am.
