Lottie Moss says 'super spreading' COVID comment was 'insensitive joke' in apology
Lottie Moss has apologised for an "insensitive joke" which saw her state she and her friends were "super spreading" COVID.
In an Instagram Live at the weekend, the model was seen kissing a friend when she turned to the camera and said: "We're like, super spreading COVID."
Kate Moss's half-sister apologised on the platform on Monday in a written apology to her Instagram Story, claiming she was repeating a comment left by a follower.

“I just wanted to come on here and say I am so sorry for saying I was a super spreader — someone on the live popped up saying those words and I repeated them as a joke because I am not and would never condone spreading a virus as serious as this," she explained.
“I was out for dinner with 4 friends 3 of which are in the same household and under the government guidelines — as I live alone — I am allowed a support bubble of 4,” Moss continued. “I understand this has upset and offended a lot of people and I wanted to apologise for making such an insensitive joke.”

She described herself as “still young and dumb and learning" before adding: “I sometimes forget that I am a public figure and during these crazy and uncertain times I should have been more careful with my words."

Moss is the daughter of Peter Moss and wife Inger Solnordal, with elder sister Kate being a product of his first marriage to wife Linda.
Last month, the younger Moss shared she is pansexual during a Q&A session to Instagram.
