Louise Redknapp has put down claims she is “in despair” in the wake of her ex husband Jamie Redknapp having a baby with his new wife.
The former footballer and his spouse Frida Andersson welcomed son Raphael into the world last week.
Louise, who shares sons Charley, 17, and Beau, 13, with Jamie, has now responded to a story from a magazine implying she is suffering as a result.

Sharing the front cover of the issue of Heat, the 47-year-old asserted that she was actually in the “most positive of headspaces”.
“I try not to read or respond to these things but sometimes they’re unavoidable,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’d really love to clarify that ‘Louise’ is not in despair or anything like it!!
“I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the best time of my life in my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for.”
“These stories are there to sell magazines but I’d like to make it clear that I’m in the most positive of headspaces and loving my life. Here’s to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives and living their very best lives,” Louise continued.
Directly addressing the publication, she added: “Women are better than this… x.”
Their marriage came to an end in 2017, with Louise previously citing her participation in the 2016 series of Strictly Come Dancing as a catalyst for their divorce.
The mother-of-two explained she would’ve been “too scared” to leave her husband of 19 years before taking part in the programme as it set her on "a new path" and proved to her that she "could find work again".
