Louise Thompson opens up on clothes she won't wear after stoma bag fitting as she shares name for it

Louise Thompson, known for her appearances on Made In Chelsea, has affirmed that there is 'nothing' she will steer clear of wearing now that she has a stoma bag in place.

Earlier this month, the 34-year-old TV personality revealed to fans that she's had a stoma bag fitted to "save her life", during a period of extreme health troubles, after grappling with several health issues since welcoming her son last year.

Initially, the reality star introduced "the grey bag that may well save my life" to her followers on Instagram.

She showcased her new stoma bag in a video post and captioned it: "Isn't it bizarre that this little grey pouch is the price I pay for good health! I say good riddance to that nasty menacing colon!"

Thompson, who shares her two-year old son Leo-Hunter with fiancé Ryan Libbey, further discussed how her new accessory is influencing her outfit choices, the Mirror reports.

Presenting herself in a striking blue one-piece swimming costume in another online post this Wednesday, she confessed being pleasantly surprised by how "incognito" her stoma bag appeared while she wore the swimsuit.

Louise, who became a new mum in 2021, has had her fair share of health struggles with multiple hospital stays, including one as recent as February this year.

On April 9, she took to Instagram to update her followers on her latest health development, revealing that she's had a stoma bag fitted in hopes of improving her health.

In the caption of her video on Instagram, Louise penned: "Things I won't wear with my bum bag: NOTHING. I have to say I'm pretty amazed by how incognito my stoma bag is in my cosi's!

"Might be a different story by the end of the day but for now this is SERVING. What are we thinking about the name Winnie? And more importantly have you got it?

"I think it's priceless. Clue: honey pot , but open to suggestions. Was on our og baby name list, but this will do for now. L x."

Louise pondered at the start of her video caption: "HOW DO I DISCLOSE THIS SORT OF NEWS? "

Comparing her news to more conventional announcements such as baby or gender reveals, she said: "It's not exactly exciting like a big pregnancy or gender reveal announcement!

"Hey look i'm having a boy... Hey look i've got a stoma! So I guess i'll just stand here proud in stature."

Sharing a photo of herself with her stoma bag, she said: "With my new friend. Le bum bag that represents life and hopefully a better one. Isn't it bizarre that this little grey pouch is the price I pay for good health!"

Ending her post on a light hearted note, she wrote: "I say good riddance to that nasty menacing colon! Please be kind. [white love heart emoji] #ibd #ibdawareness #ibdwarrior #stoma #stomalife #autoimmunedisease."

Louise and Ryan welcomed their first "little miracle baby" back in November 2021.

However, the birth was a complicated whirlwind of tumultuous emotions with both mother and child "dancing with death".

Despite giving birth in November, Louise had to wait until Christmas before she could finally get back home due to severe complications.

Doctors worked round-the-clock to keep Louise alive which is something the reality star has expressed her gratitude for as confessed that she may not have survived without the NHS.

Louis officially announced the birth of her son via Instagram on December 23 2021.
