“Love Is Blind’”s AD Calls Her Engagement Ring from Clay ‘Cute’ but Thinks He Got Last Pick
AD also said that the ring was "chillin' in a jewelry box collecting dust"
Love Is Blind star Amber Desiree “AD” Smith is dishing details on her engagement ring.
On Thursday's episode of Nick Viall’s podcast The Viall Files, AD shared her real feelings on the diamond her ex-fiancé Clay Gravesande gave her when he proposed to her during the pods stage of the reality TV experiment.
AD, 32, told Viall, 43, and his co-hosts that she kept the ring, though she's unsure how much it's worth.
When asked if she liked the ring's design, she replied: "It was cute. I was like, ‘You picked last. You picked last, didn’t you?’"
She was implying that he had the least amount of designs to pick from out of all of the other men who proposed during the experiment and said that Clay told her that he did pick last.
"I need my man to run to the front of the line and get the best ring," she continued before adding that she "could tell" he didn't have that much enthusiasm when choosing for her.
AD said her ring is "chillin' in a jewelry box collecting dust for sure."

On the podcast, AD also said that she and Clay had "so many conversations" about not moving forward that weren't shown on Love Is Blind, so while it might seem like she was pushing him to get married and he didn't want to, that wasn't the case.
AD explained that Clay would show up in the relationship in many ways, but then, "hit me with a sprinkle like, ‘I’m just afraid to get married.’”
The reality star said she didn't want to be "humiliated" in front of family and friends at a wedding so she told him that they didn't have to get married if he didn't want to.

"And he’d be like, ‘AD, I’m not going to embarrass you. I’m not going to humiliate you,'" AD continued, adding that by the time she got to the altar, she thought they'd be getting married that day.
On The Viall Files, AD said that she and Clay are "flirty friends" but that she had no intention of giving him another chance since he called off their wedding on the Love Is Blind finale.
