“Love Is Blind”'s Brittany Reveals Her Other Pod Connection Besides Kenneth — and Why It Wasn't Shown on Camera
Though she left the season 6 pods with Kenneth Gorman, Brittany Mills said there was another contestant who vied to put an engagement ring on her finger, but his "drama" got in the way
Love Is Blind's Brittany Mills is spilling the details about moments from this past season that were never captured on camera.
On Thursday's episode of the De-Influenced with Dani Austin podcast, Brittany, 25, shed some light on the romantic connections she explored behind the scenes.
Fans primarily saw the season 6 star form a bond with Kenneth Gorman, a 26-year-old middle school principal, before the two ultimately got engaged. But, according to Brittany, Kenneth wasn't the only contender vying for her heart in the pods.
"I was actually dating somebody else and it didn't get shown because he was in a lot of drama," she explained on the podcast. "And like poor Kenneth, I had him like on the edge of his seat."
When asked if she was one of the women dating Jimmy Presnell, alongside costars Jessica Vestal and Chelsea Blackwell, Brittany silently confirmed suspicions. She went on to explain that he was "really smooth with his words" in the pods.
The account development manager recalled how she whittled down her options to Jimmy, 28, and Kenneth. She admitted to feeling torn between her two choices until she realized she needed a partner who could join her in her devotion to her faith.
"The thing is like about Kenneth, I was like 'He is so God-fearing' and I was like, 'Brittany, that is what you need.' That's a husband," she recalled, adding that while she and Jimmy shared the same faith, he confessed that she would need to take the reins and "lead me in that way."
Once she heard those words come out of Jimmy's mouth, Brittany said she knew it would be a "dealbreaker."
After the two went their separate ways, Jimmy went on to propose to Chelsea and Brittany got engaged to Kenneth.
As one of the first couples to get engaged sight unseen, Kenneth and Brittany appeared to be a perfect match and jetted off to the Dominican Republic for a romantic getaway. Along the trip, they had their share of awkwardly silent moments but things didn't shift until they returned to their real lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The couple discovered they were on different pages when it came to physical affection and decided to go their separate ways before heading down the altar.
Though the pair may no longer be romantically involved, the duo told PEOPLE that they've kept in touch since their time on the show.
"Kenneth and I, after the experience, we ended on a very good note and we have remained very close friends," she revealed in an interview with PEOPLE. "I can say that we talked, and it's natural and it's still organic and we're both there for one another."
"Actually the night that it happened and we decided to part ways, we decided, 'Hey, we were in this experience together, and that's something that's so important and so special, too. And we're not just going to throw that away,'" she continued. "And we have remained friends, and I'm really thankful for that."

Kenneth had a similar perspective while speaking to PEOPLE, saying he and Brittany are "best friends."
"We speak every day on the phone at this point. We share so many moments of just day-to-day life," he explained. "Every time something happens, we're like, 'Oh, I got to call Brittney.' She's like, 'Oh, I got to call Ken.' That is who we are."
"I think the love that we have for each other and the bond that we formed will never die," he added. "I have so much respect for her, so much love for her. And just for us to be, now, a year out of that experience, and to still be that strongly connected to her, just shows me, again, we're meant to come and pass with each other."
As for Jimmy and Chelsea, they also broke up shortly before their wedding after several fights — including one about a secret hookup Chelsea exposed that Jimmy had a hard time coming back from.
The two remain on good terms now, and even recently reunited for e.l.f. Cosmetics' new "Makeup Over Makeup" video series to rehash their relationship drama and breakup. "We didn't have the ending we wanted, but you're a great person, you're a great friend, and I still love my time I spent with you, even though we didn't end up like that," Jimmy said in the video.
