Love Is Blind Update: Which Couples Are Still Together? Who Broke Up?

Netflix’s Love Is Blind, which first premiered in February 2020, shook up the reality dating scene with its unique concept in which participants date while separated in “pods” and get engaged before having ever seen each other. The couples then live together for several weeks before deciding whether their love is strong enough to in fact get married.

The show has delivered some happy endings, including Season 1’s Lauren and Cameron, who remain together to this day. “I’m grateful for you every day, rain or shine. You light up this world,” Cameron wrote on their fourth anniversary. “The last four years together have been a gift. I threw away the receipt, so we’ve got to keep each other.”

However, the show has seen its fair share of drama, like Jackie and Marshall’s explosive relationship in Season 4 (which ended with Jackie walking out on him), and Season 1’s Amber and Jessica getting into a heated confrontation during the After the Altar special.

That’s why you should scroll on for a full update on every pairing from Love Is Blind Seasons 1-5. And don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments!

Damian and Francesca briefly dated while appearing on the Netflix dating series Perfect Match but ultimately went their separate ways. Meanwhile, Giannina went on to date Blake Horstmann from Season 14 of The Bachelorette.

After tying the knot in the Season 2 finale, the pair spent a year married before announcing their separation in August 2022.

“It has taken some time to publicly speak about my marriage ending, as emotions are still raw,” Danielle said in a statement. “However, I will always appreciate those who have followed my journey and continue to support me throughout this entire experience.”

Meanwhile, Nick wrote on Instagram, “The last few weeks have been especially challenging for me. Like many of us going through a loss or life-altering event, we experience cycles of grief as we navigate our emotions.”

Season 2: Deepti and Shake

Throughout the season, Shake was vocal about not feeling an “intense physical connection” with Deepti, so it was a surprise that they made it all the way to the altar. But Deepti chose not to go through with the marriage, saying that she deserved “somebody who knows for sure. So, I’m choosing myself and I’m going to say no.”

Season 2: Iyanna and Jarrette

Although these two exchanged vows, the Season 2 reunion revealed they were in disagreement over Jarrette’s party lifestyle. The couple announced in August 2022 that they were getting a divorce.

“After much thought, we’re saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the process of divorcing,” they said in a statement. “While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that’s okay. Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best.”

Their divorce was finalized last November.

Season 2: Shaina and Kyle

In the pods, Shane formed a connection with both Natalie and Shaina, but chose to propose to Natalie. On their wedding day, Natalie chose not to say “I do,” citing their explosive argument the night before in which Shane told her he hated her and that she was the worst thing that ever happened to him.

The pair continued to date after the show until Shayne confirmed in March 2022 that they were finished. Shayne went on to appear in Netflix’s Perfect Match and started a relationship with The Circle’s Chloe Veitch. However, they broke up after filming on Season 1.

These two are still married and going strong.

In the Season 3 finale, Zanab decided not to marry Cole and instead called him out for disrespecting her throughout the season. “You have insulted me. You have critiqued me,” she said at the altar. “You have singlehandedly shattered my self-confidence. And I hate that you have had that kind of effect on me.”

They never got back together.

Season 3: Nancy and Bartise

Bartise blindsided Nancy by refusing to marry her at the altar (and narrowly avoided a tense confrontation with her brother). Later, when Bartise tried to keep things open romantically between them, Nancy shot him down.

“You f–king gaslit me,” she told him in a private conversation before declaring their relationship over. They did not get back together.

Bartise appeared in Season 1 of Netflix’s Perfect Match and revealed during the Love Is Blind Season 4 reunion that he had a son.

Their tumultuous relationship came to an end in Season 4, Episode 11, when Jackie broke things off with Marshall and refused to return the engagement ring. They have both since moved on, with Marshall unveiling his new girlfriend during the After the Altar reunion special.

Jackie, meanwhile, rekindled things with Josh — her other connection in the pods — but announced their split on TikTok Live a few weeks after the reunion.

Season 4: Zach and Bliss

Zach chose Irina over Bliss in the pods, and their relationship quickly fizzled when they realized they weren’t compatible. Zach then rekindled things with Bliss, and they got married in the Season 4 finale. They are still together.

Season 5: Uche and Aaliyah

Uche and Aaliyah got on well in the pods, until Aaliyah revealed that she cheated in a past relationship. They continued to see each other despite his adverse reaction and Uche had planned to propose. However, Aaliyah left the show before he got the chance — after learning more details about how Lydia and Uche were dating just three months prior to the show — and blocked him on all social channels.

According to Aaliyah, she and Uche continued to date after the show, but things didn’t work out between them. At the reunion, she revealed that she had a new man in her life. Uche, meanwhile, no-showed.

Season 5: JP and Taylor

Taylor and JP got engaged in the pods, but their relationship quickly changed once they met face-to-face. During their vacation, Taylor confronted JP about his awkwardness and reservedness, and how he wasn’t really speaking to her. JP blamed his behavior on her makeup, saying that she looked better with a natural face and that he felt like she looked fake when he first saw her after their engagement. This resulted in a massive fight, with Taylor ending their relationship the next day. They did not get back together after that.

Season 5: Izzy and Stacy

Izzy connected with both Stacy and Johnie in the pods, and eventually picked Stacy as his would-be bride. The pair had their fair share of struggles, namely Stacy’s high financial expectations and Izzy neglecting to reveal his bad credit until just before the wedding. Still, the pair made it down the aisle, but Stacy then chose not to say “I do” at the altar.

The pair didn’t speak to each other for a year, but later reunited at a bar to see if the sparks were still there. They determined there was nothing left of their romance and opted to remain good friends instead.

Season 5: Chris and Johnie

Johnie hit it off with both Chris and Izzy in the pods, but then dumped Chris to focus on Izzy. But when Izzy broke up with her, she went back to Chris, who was still on the fence about being her second choice. Although they didn’t get engaged, they did date after leaving the pods.

During the reunion episode, Johnie revealed that Chris ghosted her after the barbecue dinner gathering, which saw Izzy attack Johnie for being “shady” and Chris come to her defense. Chris had begun seeing someone else — admitting that he cheated — and is still with that other woman.

Season 5: Lydia and Milton

Season 5: Lydia and Milton
Season 5: Lydia and Milton

In the pods, Milton and Lydia bonded over a shared love of rocks and were soon engaged. Although Lydia’s family was on board for the marriage, Milton’s family remained skeptical, including Milton’s sister Jessica, who called the relationship “phony.”

At the barbecue gathering, Uche accused Lydia of stalking him, which resulted in a huge argument. He then tried to convince Milton that Lydia followed him on the show, but Milton brushed him off, maintaining that his relationship with Lydia was its own thing. Lydia and Milton made it all the way to the altar and ended Season 5 as the only couple to exchange vows.

At the reunion, the pair confirmed that they are still together.
