Love Is Blind season 5 spoilers follow.

Love Is Blind star Aaliyah Cosby has revealed that she wants "closure" from her experience on the show.

Aaliyah formed a connection with Uche Okoroha in the pods, however their blossoming relationship later hit the rocks after it was revealed that Uche had previously been in relationship with fellow contestant Lydia Velez Gonzalez.

Ultimately Uche and Lydia's prior relationship proved too much for Aaliyah and she exited the series before Uche could propose.

Speaking to People about the situation, Aaliyah said: "At this point, I am really unsure on a lot, but I just hope that they both are in a better place because I feel like there's a lot that they had experienced prior to the show that just didn't really have much to do with me."

"I think that's for them to kind of share with people if they choose to. But I feel at peace with it now."

She continued: "For a while it was kind of difficult for me to navigate my feelings... Maybe they can kind of speak to it more and then we can all get our closure together on that and get our answers together."

Following Aaliyah's decision to leave the experiment, she and Uche later met up to discuss their feelings while Lydia accepted a proposal from Milton Johnson.

Meanwhile, Love Is Blind producer Chris Coelen revealed that Lydia and Uche's reunion came as a complete surprise to producers.

"The fact that Lydia and Uche not only knew each other, but had a prior romantic relationship, was a complete surprise to me. I was totally blindsided," he told Variety.

"We told each of them, separately, that we had no idea how this happened, and we were disappointed."

Love Is Blind season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.
