Love Is Blind season six spoilers follow.

Love Is Blind contestant Chelsea has publicly responded to controversy following her comment about sometimes being mistaken for actress Megan Fox.

The reality TV star made the remark on the show during a date with now-fiance Jimmy, who asked Chelsea if she ever gets told she looks like a celebrity.

The flight attendant said that she gets compared to the Transformers actress by passengers on her flights "all the time", explaining: "It's just because I have light eyes and dark hair. That's the only reason. There's nothing else … at least, I'm assuming so."

Some fans of the show have since taken to social media to question the two's resemblance, while others have called out Chelsea's comment about her appearance, on the basis of the series being a 'blind' dating show.

Making light of the online commentary, Chelsea has now shared a TikTok video responding to the Megan Fox comment.

"This would be a great time for the people who have ever told me that I resembled her to come forward," she said, jokily adding: "Please I'm begging you."

After Jimmy and Chelsea's proposal and first face-to-face meet and greet on the show, viewers saw Jimmy also admit he struggled to see the comparison in a solo piece to camera.

"She definitely lied to me about some, uh, how she looked," he said. "Chelsea told me she looked like Megan Fox.

"At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter. I am very attracted to her. I can work with that."

The first six episodes of season six dropped on Netflix last week. While Jimmy chose Chelsea as his future bride, he also built a strong connection with single mum Jessica. Meanwhile, Chelsea also struck up a romantic bond with Trevor.

While the two appeared loved-up during the couple's retreat in the Dominican Republic, things took a turn during the group reunion.

The end of episode six saw the two have their first argument, with Chelsea expressing her discomfort at seeing Jimmy's interactions with co-star Amber Desiree 'AD' Smith.

Viewers will find out if the two were able to resolve their issues in the next batch of episodes, dropping on Netflix on Wednesday (February 20).
