The summer of love is drawing to a close as Love Island gears up for the grand final.

With Mitchel Taylor and Ella Barnes voted out by the rest of the group at the final hurdle, there are four couples left in the running to be crowned the champions.

Even if happily ever after doesn't await the winners, lucrative deals and TV appearances do, as well as of course the prize money - so who is in touching distance of the £50,000?

For Love Island viewers who value a bit of commitment in their couples, Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde look like a good bet.

They've been together since day one, unlike the rest of the finalists, but have also rowed with some of the other contestants in recent weeks when asked to express their feelings on who was the most compatible in a challenge.

Could they make it all the way to the end and swoop the cash prize as a fairytale ending?

Jess Harding and Sammy Root

Although Jess Harding has been in the show from the start and Sammy Root entered as a bombshell, they've become one of the villa's biggest love stories of the summer.

From Root's heart-melting moment asking Harding to be his girlfriend, to some of their stormy rows, they've provided some great entertainment this season.

It looks like they might just have a chance of making their relationship work off the island, too.

Molly Marsh and Zach Noble

Anyone with even a passing interest in Love Island will know that Molly Marsh was one of this year's biggest drama magnets.

Starting out coupled up to Mitchel Taylor, Marsh had to fend off his over enthusiasm as she decided she had actually fallen for Zach Noble - sparking big rows with some of the other girls who were accused of bullying her over her change of heart.

Just as things looked like they could work out for Marsh and Noble, she was dumped in a shock twist - but then was controversially reintroduced a few weeks later, allowing them to pick up where they left off.

Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki

Whitney Adebayo is without a doubt the favourite islander with viewers, but can Lochan Nowacki match her popularity in the voting?

She entered as a bombshell, but having been in the villa since day three, she's seen out most of the competition and finally met her match at Casa Amor.

Adebayo and Nowacki have already been voted the favourite couple - will their place in the ratings stay the same for the grand final?

Love Island's final airs tonight (31 July) at 9pm on ITV2.
