Love Island viewers brand Casa Amor newcomer 'rude and obnoxious'

Love Island newcomer Blade Siddiqi has already got on the wrong side of the show's fans who have labelled him "rude and obnoxious".

Blade is in competition with Moziah Pinder for Grace Jackson's affections during their stay in Casa Amor, but things got heated between the two new boys when Blade rudely cut into a private moment.

He was confronted by Moziah, who viewers backed as they said Blade's behaviour had been "cringe".

Love Island Casa Amor contestant Blade is proving unpopular with the show's fans over his "rude" behaviour.

Blade and Moziah are both interested in Grace, but as Moziah sat down for an intimate chat with her, Blade threw manners out of the window and stole her away for his own conversation.

He cut off Moziah mid-sentence to ask Grace to come over to the fire pit with him instead, leaving a shocked Moziah muttering "savage".

But Moziah wasn't about to let Blade embarrass him as he later pulled him up on the behaviour, saying: "Out of pure respect, morals and values, you can't just interrupt a conversation and take that person. Do you think that doing that was the right thing to do at any level bro?"

Blade answered: "Am I just meant to sit here and watch you chatting to her all night?" before Grace made her own interruption, pulling Moziah for a chat and a kiss.

One shocked viewer commented on X: "I find Blade to be very rude and obnoxious and if I was Grace I woulda told him he interrupting my conversation and to wait!"

Someone else agreed: "There’s no way Blade would have done that with Grace and Moziah if he wasn’t the physically stronger man - it’s such cringe behaviour."

Another person wrote: "Blade is so rude omg get away," while someone else added: "that blade guy is like he must enter the villa no matter the girl."

One viewer commented: "Fairplay to Mosiah for calling it out blade is rude and overly confident."

What else has been happening on Love Island?

Fans have urged show bosses to stop turning the show into "Joey's Island" after another contestant Joey Essex has history with arrived in the villa.

Towie star Joey is looking for love on the ITV dating show, after entering as the first celebrity bombshell. His former flame Grace Jackson arrived in the villa earlier in the series and in Monday night's show, it turned out that he knew newcomer Emma Milton too.

Joey insisted to the others that he hadn't dated Emma, but viewers suspect there is more to the story. And many have now said they are over seeing Joey with people he knows, with one posting on X that it was "getting boring".

Emma arrived during Monday's show, walking into the bedroom as Joey's jaw dropped. Clapping his hands to his face he told the others: "I know her!"

"Please can we not have a repeat of the 'Joey's Ex's' saga with Emma," one viewer wrote on X. "It's getting boring." "Why didn’t they bring in any of the girls exes, why always the boys exes??" asked someone else.

Another posted: "I don’t know why the producers are obsessed with Joey (yes I know REEM) but this is Love Island not Joey’s Island. I don’t need to see ANYMORE of his flings, exes or situationships."
