"Islanders. Tonight, there will be a recoupling in which the boys will choose which girl they want to couple up with. Uma, as the newest arrival you will decide which boy you would like to couple up with first. #MakeAMove," Uma read aloud.

As the Islanders gathered nervously by the firepit, Uma was the first to make her choice.

"I would like to couple up with this boy because I feel like we have a great connection. We've had a lot to talk about since I came in…" she started.

"He's shown me a lot of interest. It's early days so it's quite difficult for me to make this decision at the moment," she continued, before ultimately picking Ayo.

After Uma made her decision, it was over to the boys.

Ronnie was first to choose, opting to stay with his partner Jess, but revealing he was still open to getting to know people. Joey also stayed with his partner, picking Samantha.

Ciaran had been torn between his partner Harriett and Nicole. Earlier in the episode, Joey forced him to make a decision between the two, leading to a big argument with snubbed Harriett. Unsurprisingly, at the recoupling, Ciaran chose Nicole.

With his partner taken by Ciaran, Sean decided to explore things with Harriett. Lastly, Munveer chose to stick with his partner Patsy, leaving Mimii standing alone.

As her phone beeped, she read out the ominous text: "Mimii, you are now single."

Fortunately, it wasn't the end of her Love Island journey as she received a second message: "Omar is waiting to meet you for your first date."

Will sparks fly for Omar and Mimii?

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
