One of this year’s Love Island couple has split just days after appearing on the ITV reunion show special.

Casey O’Gorman and Rosie Seabrook - who didn’t quite make it to the final - have decided to go their separate ways after failing to gel outside of the villa.

Former recruitment consultant Casey, 26, confirmed that he and ex placement consultant Rosie, 24, are no longer in a relationship during an Instagram Q&A with fans when one asked “How are things with you and Rosie?”

Casey replied: “Rosie and I have spoken... she’s such a great girl. Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward!”

Fans had been speculating over whether or not the two were still an item following their appearance on the reunion show which aired on Sunday.

Eyebrows were raised after Casey and Rosie both shared snaps of the Maya Jama hosted reunion episode, but failed to post a picture alongside one another, or even mention each other.

However according to a source, the writing had been pretty much on the wall since they returned from South Africa where the winter series of the hit ITV2 dating show is filmed.

“It was clear from the moment they left the villa that Casey and Rosie weren’t going to last,” they told the Mail Online.

“They haven’t made any effort to spend time together on the outside or go on dates to truly get to know each other and they both agreed it was better to quit while they were ahead.”

Meanwhile, another insider told The Sun that Casey had been heard bragging about being single, saying: “Casey said he was not officially in a couple with Rosie and that he was single. It was clear he was ready to go out on the pull and enjoy the attention that comes after being on a show like Love Island.”
