The couple, who were crowned the 2022 champions of the ITV2 series, shared a romantic video from their time in Rome, Italy, where Sanclimenti was seen gifting his girlfriend a ring.
Alongside the video, Sanclimenti wrote: 'Our first Christmas together and our first time in Rome together… It was missing something on that hands tho (sic).'
Cülcüloğlu was seen beaming as she was given a Cartier gold band from Sanclimenti, who was sat next to her as she unwrapped several boxes that got smaller and smaller.
Once getting to the ring, he slipped it on her finger and left her beaming, and she later shared a photo of the gold band itself, simply saying she was "over the moon".
Now fans are confused as to whether or not the couple are engaged, with neither confirming whether the ring was for an engagement, or simply a "promise ring" as he didn't get down on one knee.
"Is this an engagement or not?! I can’t tell," wrote one fan. "Mom and dad, help us."
Another wasn't so sure though, and wrote: "Listen if it was a proposal we know Davide would have gone all out. I'm assuming he's just locking it in with a promise ring!"
Fellow islander Dami Hope responded to the video as well, and said: "Why everyone being so cute today [I don't get it]."
The couple has been going from strength-to-strength since they won Love Island this summer, with both lining up lucrative deals which could earn them millions.
Their first TV show together, Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecomings, aired shortly after their time on the series, and showed them introducing each other to their native homes of Turkey and Italy, and meeting each other's families.
Announcing her participation on Good Morning Britain, she said: "I’m so excited for the team, I can’t wait to get on the ice and skate. Stay tuned and see you on the ice!"
