Nelson began his singer-songwriter career after his stint in the Love Island villa. He scored an EMI Records deal in August 2020 and released his debut single — 'See Nobody' — in September 2020.

Recently, fellow former Love Island star Samie Elishi opened up about her own health scare after she found a 5-centimetre lump on her neck.

"I have to have half of my thyroid removed, basically all they do is just cut your neck," Elishi said.

"I shouldn't be upset because I'm so grateful that people messaged and I caught it now, and I have the opportunity to get it removed and get it sorted, but it is still really scary. I'm a young girl, but I'm realising how common it is."

Love Island airs on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
