There's no denying last night's Casa Amor was one for the Love Island history books. But this is just a friendly reminder that chaos can unfold without women feeling the need to put each other down, in order to build themselves up.

After a week of the original Love Islanders being separated into two villas and surrounded by temptation, Casa Amor has finally come to a close, with Maya Jama leading the recoupling ceremony around the fire pit.

While the likes of Joey Essex stayed loyal and Ayo decided to recouple, the biggest drama came from Sean, who stayed paired up with Matilda - despite creating connections with both Diamanté and Ruby in Casa.

During his recoupling speech, the 24-year-old from Hertford said, he'd been like 'a little kid in a sweet shop', but ultimately decided to stay loyal and couple up with Matilda again. She also decided to stay with Sean, and the pair were reunited at the fire pit.

But Diamanté, 21 from London, was shocked by the decision, after sharing a number of kisses with Sean. "It's a bit weird how you can tell someone they're your priority, and this is how you treat your priority," she told Sean, before Matilda retaliated, "Well, you're not sat here babe."

"You can have him," Diamanté responded. "He's just going to do the same to you."

"I will [have him]," Matilda said back. "Cool, cool, cool. I'm sat here." Ruby then put her two-pence in, saying she wished Matilda and Sean the best of luck, but that "boys will be boys."

"What does that mean?" Matilda shot back. "What the f***? It doesn't change anything for me. Obviously, Casa's Casa. And they weren't special enough to be sat here, so."

Sorry, but what is going on? Why are these women tearing each other down, while Sean is sat there happy as Larry, not being held accountable for his actions?

It's Sean who should be facing the wrath of these women for his role in making them feel like he was interested in all of them at the same time. What's the need for Matilda, Ruby and Diamanté to be hurling insults at each other? Sean is the one they should be angry with! Not each other!

Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, agree. "Matilda giving pure attitude to Diamanté and Ruby when they’re telling her how Sean was moving in Casa Amor and she’s telling them how unspecial [sic] they are is not the move," one person wrote.

Another summarised, "Matilda why are you getting mad at HER and not SEAN?" and a third wrote, "Why was Matilda giving the girls' attitude? I’m so confused! Why were those nasty comments necessary?"

Of course, emotions were likely running high, and the trio were acting on impulse, but this is just a friendly PSA that there's no need to target each other with such sass, especially when Sean hasn't been asked to explain himself.

Honestly, we feel how Maya Jama looked:
