Love Island's Chyna Mills shares health update amid pregnancy

Love Island's Chyna Mills has taken to social media to share a health update amid her pregnancy announcement.

Earlier this month, Chyna shared the happy news that she and Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones are engaged and expecting a baby.

During a Q & A session on Instagram Stories, the Love Islander told fans that she has recently been diagnosed with asthma, which, combined with morning sickness is making the pregnancy harder.

"I would be lying if I said that pregnancy has been all roses for me, because it really hasn't," Chyna said.

"I still suffer with morning sickness and I'm pretty much halfway through my pregnancy now," she said.

According to Chyna, she was encouraged to attend a doctor's appointment by her Love Island co-star Summer Botwe.

"A few weeks ago, I found out that I was asthmatic," Chyna said before giving a shout out to Summer. "They said, due to me being pregnant, it obviously makes it worse so then it made me more aware of what was actually going on in my body. I guess that's a good thing, but now I pretty much have to carry around an inhaler everywhere because… yes. It's triggered."

Speaking of her pregnancy so far, Chyna said that, as well as her recent diagnosis, she's having trouble sleeping.

"Other than that, sleeping is a problem! These are a lot of things people just don't really talk about when it comes to pregnancy, she said. "I think I've learnt a lot, that's what I can say, but there is more good."

During the same Q & A, Chyna admitted that the pair don't yet know the sex of their baby but they "will be finding out" soon.

Previously opening up about her engagement to Strictly's Neil, Chyna said: "After the baby news, we were on cloud nine – and now this. It still doesn't feel real."

Love Island airs on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
