Love Island's Curtis Pritchard responds to ex Amy Hart's baby news

Former Love Island star Curtis Pritchard has responded to ex Amy Hart becoming a mum, saying he's "so happy for her".

The two were famously coupled up in the villa during the 2019 series of the ITV2 show, though the initially solid couple's break-up became one of the most-talked-about moments of the series.

Earlier this year, Amy confirmed that she had welcomed a baby boy called Stanley with partner Samuel Rason, and it seems that Curtis is still on good terms with his ex.

"I have congratulated Amy," he told Closer. "I'm so happy for her. She's found The One, and she's found her love."

Curtis also sent his support to fellow series stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, who also became parents earlier this year with the birth of daughter Bambi.

"And huge congratulations to Tommy and Molly. I haven't met Bambi yet, but I think Tommy will be the most fun and great dad," Curtis added.

However, the reality star said that he has no plans to become a father himself in the near future, revealing: "I feel very happy at the moment so I won't be doing anything like that any time soon. I've still got things I want to achieve first."

On announcing their baby's arrival, Amy and Sam wrote: "Well…. 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks…they weren't ), 4 very short hours in the delivery suite and 5 long days in hospital later, we are home with our dreamy baby boy.

"Born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair (Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so so in love. Proper introductions to come but now we're home safe and sound.

"Thank you to everyone who sent their well wishes. We really appreciated it over the last few days."

Love Island airs on ITV2, and is available via catch-up on ITVX and BritBox.
