Yahoo News Love Island's Davide is glad Ekin-Su was voted off Dancing on Ice
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was recently voted out of Dancing on Ice, but boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti has admitted he's glad about her exit.
The Love Island star said since winning the ITV2 reality show last year, the pair haven't been able to spend much time together and that the show's hectic training schedule didn't help either, as well as how it was affecting his partner.
"I could see she was getting emotional, she wasn't going to training relaxed," Davide said to the Daily Star. "I've always said the main reason for doing the show is so that you'll enjoy it and you can't forget that it's a reality show."

"I feel like she was getting too emotionally involved and now that she's out she can spend time to herself, even since coming out of the villa we haven't had much time to ourselves. I felt like I was a part of Dancing on Ice as well so even a part of me is glad that it's done and now we can look forward to new things."
Davide, who made a brief appearance on the ice with Ekin-Su, added that he didn't believe she should have been voted off so early.
"I didn't expect it, I saw her progressing week on week and I know how much training she was doing and how much effort she was putting into it. I don't think it's fair to see her out on the fourth week," he said.

The reality star recently spoke about the pair's relationship, and what he hoped for the future.
"We've got really good intentions for the future, we're probably going to get married so I feel like I've got everything I wanted," he said.
Dancing on Ice airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
