Love Island's Laura Anderson 'definitely not on good terms' with Gary Lucy

Love Island's Laura Anderson has opened up about the current status of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy, as she prepares to welcome her first child.

Laura announced her pregnancy earlier this month around the same time that her split from Gary, who she met on Celebs Go Dating, was made public.

On Thursday (February 23), Laura answered fan questions on her Instagram Stories, many of which were about her and the former Hollyoaks actor. One fan asked: "Are you and Gary on good terms?"

She replied: "Definitely not."

Another asked: "Is there any chance that you and Gary can get back together?", to which Laura gave a firm: "No."

Laura also shared that she and Gary do not have a co-parenting plan yet but added that they hopefully will "once the baby is here".

Following their break-up, Gary gave an interview to The Sun, where he claimed that Laura wanted him to move from Essex to Scotland.

Addressing Gary's claims on Instagram, Laura told her followers earlier this week: "I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary. However, due to what has now been publicly shared by other parties, I have been left with no choice."

"Gary and I are no longer together due to multiple reasons which will remain private," she continued, saying that the plan was for her to move to Essex to raise their baby, which she was happy to do.

"However, since the breakdown of our relationship, I have remained at home in Scotland. My priority is bringing my baby up in a calm and stable environment," she added.

"I never asked or expected Gary to move to Scotland. I fully support him living in Essex to be close to his four amazing children."

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
