Love Island's Maya Jama gives romance advice to taxi driver in hilarious exchange

Bristolian Maya Jama shared a hilarious exchange with a taxi driver offering him romantic advice. The Love Island presenter, 29, was on her way to a celebrity party in Soho London when she posted a funny conversation to her Instagram story.

When heading on a night out in a taxi, most girls can relate to suddenly being plunged into an awkward conversation with their driver who is attempting to flirt with them. Whilst most people shut down this conversation, the bubbly Maya decided to play along with this man's exchange who revealed what he's looking for in a "wife."

The social media stories begin with Maya giving the man love advice: "This is my problem with you. You're 50 years old, you've been hunting for a beautiful wife this whole time, you don't really care about her chat, you just want her to be beautiful - and it hasn't worked out. Maybe its time to look for something deeper than just a face."

The driver inserted 'Mmms' and 'yeses' to each of Maya's statements until she interjected: "You don't care do you, you just said I want beauty, she can be a mute, she doesn't even have to speak as long as she looks nice, that's what you're on."

The taxi driver laughed: "No obviously she can speak! She can speak, obviously. It's just maybe it doesn't come out something interesting or something" Maya replied: "Oh so she can speak but it doesn't have to be something interesting, just make a noise. You're moving crazy."

He said proudly: "The beauty motivates me." A savage Maya responded: "Yeah, you're face motivated," to which the driver simply agreed: "Yeah that's right."

Maya looked stunning in a figure-hugging black jumpsuit with a smart black blazer and boosted her height with strappy heels while accessorising with a quilted bag. The brunette wore her long hair in a sleek straight style and opted for a glowing makeup look.

On Instagram the exchange continued, Maya asked: "You don't want kids or anything like that?" The driver sharply replied: "I want! I want a minimum of three." A confused Maya added: "Three kids at 52? You're gonna have your first one soon...with no woman?" The assured driver commented: "First one soon, and then second one maybe 12 months later."

The star cheekily asked: "Alright so this is all got to happen very soon then where's the girly?" To which the driver said he was still looking. Maya mentioned how hard it is for a woman to give birth, suggesting his demands would put a lot of pressure on his future wife.

She then switched the narrative onto the driver and asked: "How would you feel if you had to open it up and birth a child, how'd you think you'd deal with that? Bussing one out, would that go well?" To which he quickly responded: "Yeah I would be good at it."

Maya swiped: "You got a lot of high expectations, I really respect the confidence though." Before the conversation concluded the presenter called out the driver's intentions.

"When I got in the car and you say where you're from I thought hang on a minute, he's trying a ting today, uncle, not tonight," Maya then hilariously pointed at him. She then added: "We've had such a bond during this journey that you're my free driver now forever."

The confident driver yelled: "Take my number!" The star laughed: "No I'm not gonna take your number, we can't go there hunny also you're running a business here mate you can't be offering lifts for free, any pretty girl comes in and you're just freeing it up."

The driver quickly interjected: "Not everyone." Maya grinned "Just me... well I can't take you up on that offer but it's been a pleasure."
