Yahoo News Love Island's Samie addresses split from Tom on Instagram
Love Island's Samie Elishi has addressed her recent split from Tom Clare.
The former couple found love on the most recent series of the ITV2 dating show, and placed third overall. While they chose to continue their romance outside of the villa, Tom revealed earlier this week that he and Samie have now parted ways.
Addressing the news on her Instagram Story, Samie wrote: "Really didn't want to have to write an Instagram Story on this but the comments and messages I have been getting since Tom posted this story yesterday is just not fair."

She continued: "I will be speaking about everything soon but at the moment the time isn't right (which I will also explain). Thank you for the kind messages they don't go unnoticed."
Tom confirmed that he and Samie had split on his own Instagram Story on Wednesday (April 26), writing: "Didn't think I'd be writing this but me & Samie have gone [our] separate ways.
"We are still on good terms & I have nothing but love & respect for her. I'm gutted it's come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best."

Just last month, Tom and Samie told Digital Spy that they had made their relationship official during an "intimate" meal.
"It's been a bit mad since we've come out of the villa and I didn't want to make it a big thing on social media," Tom said at the time.
Samie added: "It was just us. We had no madness and there was no one coming up to us. It was just us and it was nice. And then he asked me, and obviously it went well," Samie said at the time.
