Love Island's Tommy Fury to propose to Molly-Mae Hague "soon"

Love Island star Tommy Fury has said he plans to propose to girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague "soon".

The couple got together back on the 2019 series of the ITV2 show and have been going strong since, welcoming a baby girl called Bambi earlier this year.

Appearing on today's (May 18) all-male edition of Loose Women, the panel – which also included Radio 2’s Vernon Kay, The Chase's Paul Sinha and actor and musician Martin Kemp – discussed the right time to propose in a relationship.

Speaking about Molly-Mae, Tommy revealed: "My actual plan was to [propose] a lot sooner but obviously being a boxer, when you're in a training camp, you've got to completely shut yourself off and focus on the fight.

"So I can't be going here, there and everywhere proposing. I'm going to do it soon guys, I really am but it just takes a bit of time!"

Later on in the show, Tommy stressed that he is ready for marriage, explaining: "I'm one hundred percent ready for marriage but as I said, it's just finding the time!"

Meanwhile, earlier this year Tommy opened up about why he and Molly-Mae decided to call their daughter Bambi, revealing it had been a conversation all the way back in the villa.

"We spoke about it in the Love Island villa and loads more once we got out, but Molly told me that ever since she was a kid, she wanted to call her daughter Bambi. So I'm not going to be that guy to take that away from her."

Love Island airs on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
