Lucy Mecklenburgh asks 'am I being dramatic' after being 'laughed' at during 'emotional' day without Ryan Thomas

Lucy Mecklenburgh was left asking her fans if she was being 'dramatic' as she spoke about having a bit of an 'emotional' day while Ryan Thomas is abroad. The TV personality took to social media to share how she'd had to take a trip from Manchester to London with her daughter.

Lucy explained that Lilah had an appointment at the hospital which confirmed she's experiencing the same issue as her older brother, Roman, where some of the liquid she consumes bypasses her throat and ends up in her lungs.

While it was positive that a diagnosis had been given, and Lucy was comfortable with the plan of action having done the same with her older son, the mum-of-two still found things a bit emotional and the trip itself was fraught with delays and long diversions around the capital.

Eventually, Lucy made it to her train but later, in a series of videos she shared to her Instagram Story, the former The Only Way is Essex star explained how she was heading for a seat where she could keep Lilah in her pram when she was raced past by another passenger and their child in a buggy.

"So I need others' opinions on this, whether I'm overreacting, hormonal, had a little bit of an emotional day..." Lucy started. "So I was about to get back on the train from Euston to get back to Manchester and I was walking leisurely down the platform - leisurely-ish because I knew I had to go all the way to the bottom because sometimes if the disabled seats are empty, they're really great if you've got a buggy because it's the only place you can put the buggy and your baby can sleep.

"Lilah was asleep, she'd had a full-on day and I wanted her to stay asleep. So I'm walking to the back of the train and when I was about halfway down the train, this man with his buggy and his wife/partner behind him ran past me, really fast!

"It was quite clear from the conversation he was having just behind me that he was running to get this seat and I said, 'Are you running past me, you and your partner and your baby, to beat me to the seat where you put the pram?' And he went, 'Yeah,' and laughed!"

She continued: "I don't know, I think because I'd had a really kind of emotional day, Lilah had been in the hospital and we got the diagnosis, which is a good thing and it's the beginning of the end in a way because everything's going to get better for her from now on, and I was just like, 'you're an idiot. I'm travelling alone. Why would you?' But am I being dramatic? Is it fair? He just ran past me and got to the seat."

Lucy explained that she was able to find a second spot where she was able to keep Lilah asleep in her pram before commenting she thought it was the other commuter's laugh that triggered her response.

She continued: "If he said, 'Yeah our baby's just gone to sleep and had a bit of empathy and talked to me like a normal human being rather than laughing in my face... I just feel like Ryan wouldn't let that happen..."

It comes as Ryan is currently on a working trip in Italy with Josie Gibson. The actor and the This Morning star were first seen enjoying time away together earlier this week.

The pair have been sharing pictures and video on their Instagram Stories as they joined TUI Lakes for the working break. Sharing a photo of the pair sitting having a giggle with a stunning view as the backdrop, Josie said: "Not stopped laughing @josiegibson85."

Both TV stars have already been sharing a glimpse at what they've been getting up to including boat rides on the crystal clear waters, visiting 'hidden gem' bars, heading on the water for some kayaking and tucking into delicious Italian ice creams.
