Ludacris to perform at The Mill on Sept. 7

May 13—Ludacris will perform in concert at The Mill on Sept. 7.

Tickets for Ludacris, presented by Indiana State University, will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets are $125 for VIP Standing Pit, $65 for VIP (seats allowed) and $35 for general admission (seats allowed). Student tickets will be $20 with an added fee of $2.35 when a student ID is shown at the door.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper, actor and entrepreneur has carved out a career through the landscape of hip-hop and entertainment.

Born Christopher Brian Bridges on Sept. 11, 1977, in Champaign, Illinois, Ludacris rose to prominence in the early 2000s with his debut album "Back for the First Time," which was fueled by the hits "What's Your Fantasy" and "Southern Hospitality."

Critics lauded his energy, razor-sharp lyricism and stage presence, which quickly made him a household name. Hit singles like "Area Codes," "Rollout (My Business)," "Stand Up" and "Money Maker," solidified his status as a rap icon.

Beyond music, Ludicris found success in Hollywood with roles in films like "Crash," the "Fast & Furious" franchise and "Hustle & Flow."

He has also made strides as an entrepreneur with his record label Disturbing tha Peace and ventures in the restaurant business.

The evening will begin at 7 p.m., with an opening act that has not yet been named.
