Luke Littler and girlfriend 'get soaked' on Blackpool Pleasure Beach water ride

Luke Littler and his girlfriend enjoyed a visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort at the weekend and declared they 'got soaked' on log flume ride.

The 17-year-old darts sensation travelled to the amusement part with Eloise Milburn, 21, for a well-deserved weekend off after his Premier League final loss to Michael Van Gerwen in Birmingham on Thursday. The couple enjoyed a fun day out at the attraction and posted about their visit on Instagram.

They were all smiles for a sweet selfie as Eloise wrote: "Wasn’t lying when they say you get soaked on Valhalla." Pleasure beach Resort also posted a picture of 'The Nuke' stood in front of the entrance to The Big One.

They said: "Luke Littler treated his pals to a trip to Pleasure Beach Resort over the weekend, we hope you all had an amazing day!"

Fans rushed to comment on the pictures of Luke at the Pleasure Beach resort last weekend. One said: "Good to see you having some time together.

Another commented: "You made my son’s day yesterday. When he saw you his face lit up! Such a lovely man wish you ever success xx"

A third joked: "Uppa nuke. Get on the darts stall and clean up on the Teddy's son". Another wrote: "Thank you for letting my boys take their photo with you."

A fifth fan replied: "Hope yous had a fab time at Blackpool - great day out!" Another wrote: "I hope you both had a wonderful day together you both deserve it. Shame about the rain. Cuddle up and keep warm."

It comes after Pleasure Beach Resort bosses urged the teenager to snub Alton Towers following his historic World Championship campaign. Luke, from Warrington, took the sport by storm earlier this year by reaching the World Championship final at Alexandra Palace where he was beaten by world number one Luke Humphries.

Luke had earlier revealed plans to splash his £200,000 winnings on a trip to either Blackpool or Alton Towers with his pals. He told talkSPORT: "All my friends are watching at home. We've always said we need to go Blackpool or Alton Towers so I think they will be looking at me like 'you're paying, Luke' and I'll be like "yeah, OK!"'

After hearing about Luke's dilemma, Pleasure Beach bosses posted a tongue-in-cheek message on Facebook and said Blackpool had to be his "number one choice". They have invited Luke to experience their Icon ride, sample their "far superior" fish and chips and even offered to pay £20 for a dart board if he stays at the companies Boulevard Hotel on the Promenade.
