Lulu was the toast of the town on Wednesday evening, scooping up a prestigious accolade.

The celebrated Scottish songstress looked slightly worse for wear as she clutched her National Film Award, exiting the afterparty at Porchester Hall in the capital.

At 75, the iconic 'Shout' vocalist appeared a tad bleary-eyed while making her way home by taxi after bagging the Best Supporting Actress gong for her comedic turn in 'Arthur's Whisky'.

The National Film Awards, held annually, honour standout contributions to both mainstream and independent film. Lulu cut a stylish figure in a smart suit while holding her award in the cab, having earlier turned heads with her elegant black ensemble on the red carpet.

Earlier that night, Lulu had exuded elegance on the red carpet. She was clad in an all-black number, featuring an oversized blazer with satin lapels and pockets, reports the Mirror.

The look was completed with slim-fitting trousers, a glittery top, bold jewellery, and dark shades.

Following her successful stint at Glastonbury Festival, Lulu's latest outing marks another high point. Taking to the Avalon stage at Worthy Farm on Friday, she addressed the crowd: "I'm going to try and hold it together because I want to sing my ass off."

Before belting out 'Boom Bang-A-Bang', her Eurovision-winning hit from 1969, she quizzed the audience on their fondness for the contest.

The multi-skilled artist also performed David Bowie's track 'The Man Who Sold The World' and expressed that releasing a rendition of it aided her in "starting the process of reinventing" herself. Prior to performing the James Bond theme 'The Man With The Golden Gun', Lulu shared with the festival crowd her joy at being "very happy to be a member of the 007 family".

The Eurovision Song Contest victor then became emotional, taking a moment to gather herself after receiving a thunderous applause from the Glastonbury Festival audience. Throughout her performance, Lulu delivered a selection of her hit songs, including 'We've Got Tonight', originally a duet with Irish singer Ronan Keating, and 'Relight My Fire', her chart-topping song with pop group Take That.

Despite the absence of the Irish boy band and Keating, the crowd enthusiastically participated by singing, clapping, and dancing along as Lulu confidently moved around the stage.
