What did you miss?

Lulu said Take That did her “a favour” by putting her on Relight My Fire as she hinted that they could turn up on her farewell tour.

The Shout singer, who has been in the limelight since she was 15, joined Gary Barlow and co on the 1993 track, which became a massive hit and reached number one in the UK. During an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, she shared her gratitude as she revealed that the song gave her the chance to reinvent herself.

The star, 75, opened up as she talked to hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about her upcoming Champagne For Lulu tour, which she has said will be her last and has described as a “farewell tour with family and friends”.

What, how, and why?

As they chatted Lulu seemed to hint that Take That could turn up at her concerts.

“I have family, and I don’t want to say anything about what the content is and then there were friends popping in,” she said. “You might be able to think of some of them, you might get it, you know, but it’s going to be fun!”

Shephard said he thought the singer was referring to “collaborations” on stage with other stars. But Lulu refused to spill the beans, saying it would be a “surprise” and laughing: “I am not saying a word!”

However, Shephard was sure he’d got it right, teasing: “You have done enough Take That tours – they owe you!”

“Actually, do you know what?" Lulu replied. "They did me a favour by putting me on that bloody record.

“To have a reinvention when you are in your forties, having worked since 15 years of age, and then, well they are family now.”

Lulu - who was born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie - is set to hit the road in April, starting with a concert in her home city of Glasgow. Other stops along the way will include London, Manchester and Birmingham.

What else has Lulu said about her tour?

She confirmed last month that it would be her last tour, later joking that she had “partied enough”.

Talking about turning 75 in November, the star said on The One Show: "Everyone says are you going to celebrate? And I say, honey, I've partied enough. The best way to celebrate is for me to do a few concerts and I decided last year, I'm not going to tour again.

"It takes an army to put a tour together and I found that the dates I did were so close together, it was gruelling. Not the going on stage - that's the fun. I live for that."
