Lundstram and Barisic see Rangers exits hit 'completion stage' as giddy transfer mastermind spills all

Jubilant Trabzonspor chief Ertugrul Dogan has claimed deals to bring Rangers pair John Lundstram and Borna Barisic to Turkey have reached the 'completion stage'.

The big-spending Turks have honed in on the out of contract Ibrox duo earlier this year. And now a delighted Dogan toasted a quadruple signing boost on Wednesday evening. The man who is overseeing the warp speed rebuild of his squad. He claims – via Haber 61 who confirmed he's talking about the Rangers men – that Lundstram and Barisic are two of three guaranteed signings – with a mystery fourth to join alongside Standard Liege Denis Dragus.

And an excited Dogan - speaking on Wednesday evening, said: “Three transfers are done and another transfer is coming to an end. We already had three transfers that have recently reached the completion stage". And the double signing triumph comes with the Rangers players being tipped for alternative locations. Lundstram was namechecked as an option for Ipswich and Barisic was tipped for a return to Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb.
