On November 25, Egypt hosted an opening ceremony for a restored road connecting Luxor’s Luxor and Karnak temples.
The 3,400-year-old “Avenue of the Sphinxes” is 2.7 kilometers long and features almost 1,200 statues, according to local media.
The country’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities described the ceremony hosted on Thursday as a “a legendary celebration” of the opening of “the largest open museum in the world.”
