Declan Donnelly’s Wikipedia page was edited by cheeky I’m A Celebrity fans after Holly Willoughby cracked a joke about his height.

The Geordie star was joined by the This Morning presenter after his TV partner Ant McPartlin stepped down for the first time in 16 years.

Willoughby threw herself into the role and couldn’t resist making a joke about her co-host’s stature.

Describing Donnelly she said: “He’s loads of fun and only 5ft 1.”

The quip was quickly picked up by viewers who inserted the quote into his bio on Wikipedia to read: “Declan Joseph Oliver Donnelly OBE (born 25 September 1975) is an English television presenter, producer and actor who is loads of fun and only 5’1.”

The edit was noted by 2017 queen of the jungle Georgia Toffolo. She tweeted a screenshot alongside the words: “OMG someone changed Dec’s Wikipedia already.”

Others also noticed how his catchphrase from Sunday night’s show “losers can’t be choosers” had been written into his page as well as the remark “small man” - which was used by Donnelly and McPartlin to describe Dennis Wise last year.

Donnelly and Willoughby kicked off the new series on Sunday night, welcoming 10 terrified celebs into the jungle camp. They were split into Red and Yellow teams and pitted against one another in a race to camp. Yellow team, made up of Anne Hegerty, Emily Atack, James McVey, Fleur East and Rita Simons lost, resulting in rations, the less luxurious Croc Creek camp and being up for the first two Bushtucker trials. Other stars include John Barrowman, Nick Knowles, Sair Khan, Harry Redknapp and Malique Thompson-Dwyer.

Atack was voted in by the public to take part in the first, Vipers Pit, which she will attempt on Monday night's show.

I’m A Celebrity is on ITV, Monday at 9pm
