A popular supermarket in Eltham is hiring for people with “strong communication skills” to join the team.

Perks of the job include a hefty discount and access to a free GP service.

Advertised on the website, M&S is hiring for a customer assistant on the foods department at the store on Eltham High Street.

With a salary of £13.15 per hour, the temporary position is part time and during the early morning.

The hours are as followed:

Sunday 6am – 9am

Thursday 5am – 8am

Friday 5am – 8am

Saturday 5am – 8am

The purpose of the role is to deliver a “great shopping experience” for customers, while “championing and promoting” products.

Key roles include

· Serve customers both on the shop floor and at service points

· Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that shelves are stocked with products

· Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities

· Engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.

· Build product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services
