M74 motorway 'partially blocked' after rush hour crash as vehicle overturns
There is heavy traffic on the M74 northbound into Glasgow after a vehicle reportedly overturned.
The carriageway is partially blocked near Hamilton close to Junction 5 for the Bellshill Bypass. Traffic camera images show a vehicle on its side with firefighters, police and paramedics on the scene.
The carriageway is down to one lane with the two lanes closest to the hard shoulder closed. Traffic Scotland said queues stretch back to Larkhall, four miles from the site of the incident.

Traffic Scotland reports 35 minute delays on approach. A Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: "M74 Junction 5 restricted Northbound at the Raith Interchange due to a collision.
"Emergency services remain at scene. Approx 35 minute delay on the approach back from Larkhall."
